Police blotter


Ogdensburg police were notified Wednesday at 7:44 a.m. that a counterfeit $20 bill was received at Wal-Mart, 3000 Ford St. Extension.


Joseph G. Mallette III, of 225 Morris St., Apt. 2, called city police Tuesday at 5:36 p.m. to report that property belonging to him was stolen from the St. Lawrence-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services Adult Education Center, 1020 Park St. Police said the property was valued at over $200.


Carolyn O’Grady, of 414 Albany Ave., called Ogdensburg police Tuesday at 5:35 p.m. to report that property belonging to her was stolen from her garage. Police valued the property between $50 and $199.


City police ticketed Megan C. White, 21, of 5194 County Route 14, Chase Mills, for failing to stop at a stop sign on the corner of Greene and Champlain streets at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday.
