CANTON A Massena man accused of damaging a police car while being taken into custody in June was among three people indicted Thursday by a St. Lawrence County grand jury.
Spencer A. Konitsiotis, 35, of 96 N. Main St., faces one count of misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief.
On June 8, Massena village police allegedly attempted to take Mr. Konitsiotis into custody on a warrant held by the St. Lawrence County Sheriffs Department.
Police said he became unruly and kicked the drivers side door of the village police patrol car, as well as refusing an officers orders to have no further contact with a woman who was with him at the time of his arrest on Andrews Street.
The damage to the patrol car amounted to more than $250, leading to the criminal mischief charge.
Also indicted by the grand jury Thursday:
Carl R. Burns Jr., 42, of 44 Broad St., Tupper Lake, and Angela J. Roberts, 24, of 286 Park St., Tupper Lake, both were charged with felony third-degree burglary.
According to the indictment report, the two are accused of entering or unlawfully remaining in a camp in the town of Piercefield on March 20 with the intent to commit a crime.
