Massena Central remained unbeaten and Potsdam Central notched its first win in NAC varsity girls swimming on Friday.
Massena 67, Salmon River 17: In Fort Covington, the Lady Raiders won the first nine events before the Lady Shamrocks closed with wins in the final two.
Emily Hurlbut and Baylee Carroll anchored the individual scoring for the Lady Raiders with two wins apiece. Hurlbut paced the 200 freestyle in 2:20.02 and the 500 freestyle in 6:18.9 while Carroll led both the 50 freestyle in 27.26 seconds the 100 freestyle in 1:02.55. Also scoring solo wins for Massena were; Laura Hartman in the 200IM with a time of 2:34.51, Olivia Douglas in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:15.88 and Allison Dix in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:15.44.
Carroll and Dix combined with Molli Richards and Natalie LePage to claim the 200 medley relay in 2:12.61. LePage, Hartman and Carroll teamed up with MaKenzie LaBrake to capture the 200 freestyle relay in 2:01.15 as the Lady Raiders improved to 3-0.
Megan Wells accounted for the lone individual win of the meet for Salmon River, pacing the 100 breaststroke in 1:30.69. The quartet of Keira Brill, Morgan Oakes, Clair Russell and Zaagaate Jock won the 400 freestyle relay in 5:31.91.
Potsdam 120, Gouverneur 44: At the Clarkson University pool, the host Lady Sandstoners swept the first-place finishes to earn their first win of the season.
Eight different swimmers notched solo wins; Ariana Frascatore in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:43.55, Emma Kroll in the 200IM with a time of 3:13.47, Shanielle Chambers in the 50 freestyle with a time of 33.45, Molly Tishberg in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:37.51, Gina LoMastro in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:20.54, Gwen Deuel in the 400 freestyle with a time of 6:31.87, Amanda Dillon in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:48.46 and Alexis Peterson in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:47.15.
Chambers, Peterson and Kroll combined with Lamphere to take the 200 medley relay in 2:39.4. The foursome of Chambers, LoMastro, Frascatore and Kroll led the 200 freestyle relay in 2:15.86. Tishberg and Deuel also shared 400 freestyle relay honors with Marissa brown and Kelsey Sixberry in a time of 5:14.7.
In the othe two NAC meets on Friday, OFA outscored Malone 116-53 and Edwards-Knox hosted Canton.
