OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Marisa C. Coleman, 19, of Rome with an open container violation at 1:43 a.m. Saturday on Depot Street after she was observed walking with an open bottle of Labatt Blue.

OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Andre F. Dean, 26, of Schenectady with an open container violation and littering at 2:18a.m. Saturday on Elm Street in front of La Casbah. Police said Dean was observed on Elm Street consuming an alcoholic beverage and when he saw patrols he threw the drink on the ground.

ILLEGAL PURCHASE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Jeffrey N. Pike, 18, of Ransomville with attempt to purchasealcohol by fraudulent means by a person under 21 years of age at 10:31p.m, Saturday at CJ’s. Police said they received a report from a CJ’s employee that an individual attempted to purchase alcohol with what appeared to be a fake I.D. Patrol responded, and the I.D. was determined to be fraudulent.

2134 An open door was discovered at a Market Street business; the building was cleared and secured.

2231 A SUNY Potsdam student was arrested for presenting a fake ID at CJ’s while attempting to purchase alcoholic beverages.

2243 Patrols responded to a residence on Pine Street for an altercation between several students.

2316 Patrols responded to a residence on Main Street to check on a suspicious person outside.

2316 Patrols assisted a SUNY Potsdam student with a harassment complaint.

2337 Potsdam Rescue was dispatched to a call at SUNY Potsdam.

2359 Patrols responded to an apartment on Market Street to remove an intoxicated male.
