CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - NORFOLK - Emily H. Underwood, 17, of Grassmere Avenue, Massena was charged with criminal contempt and harassment at 10:50 p.m. Friday by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Ms. Underwood physically harassed and threatened an unidentified victim, who had been issued an order of protection against her, deputies said.

Massena Village Police had charged Underwood with third-degree assault after she allegedly struck a 16-year-old female in the head during an incident July 9 at J. William Leary Junior High School.

She is scheduled to appear in town court.
