Massena- Peggy Ann O’Shea, 61, of Alden Street Massena, passed away peacefully, Saturday morning (September 22, 2012) at her home surrounded by her loving family and Hospice. Peggy is survived by her daughters Christine and husband Mike Merry of Massena, and Memoli of Syracuse. Her sons Marcus of Milford CT, Daniel John of Providence RI, and Timothy and wife Jennifer of Syracuse, NY. Also surviving Peggy are her three grandchildren, Maddox and Mikenna Merry of Massena, and Kellen O’Shea of Syracuse. She is also survived by her brother Jack of Massena.

Sisters Connie and husband Steve Dona, of Franklin MA, and Mary Dunham of Arizona. Peggy Ann was born November 30th, 1950, daughter of Leonard and Virginia (D’Arienzo) Wilkins. She Graduated from Holy Family High School and later attended Nazareth College where she studied as an English Major. She Married John Patrick O’Shea in Watertown NY on February 21, 1970. After raising her family Peggy became a teaching aide for Jefferson School in Massena where she continued up until her illness. Friends and family are welcome to call at the Phillips Memorial Home from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday (September 25, 2012) with a Mass of Resurrection Wednesday (September 26,2012) at 10:00 am with Rev. Giroux presiding. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made out to the Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley. Online Condolences may be left at
