DWI - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Nicolas A. Lecuyer, 22, of Winthrop with driving while intoxicated and with having an open container of alcohol on a public highway and ticketed him for failure to keep right on Monday following an investigation into a roll over accident that took place at 8:22 a.m. June 24.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - BRASHER FALLS - Massena-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday on the McCarthy Road near County Route 50 in the town of Brasher. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Joshua D. Bell, 27, of Brasher Falls.

PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENT - NORTH LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police investigated a one-vehicle personal injury accident at 2:44 a.m. Wednesday on Winn Road near state Route 11C in the town of Lawrence. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by John M. Perry, 36, of Brasher Falls.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged Jesse D. Latray, 22, of Moira with unlawful possession of marijuana and having an open container in a motor vehicle on a public highway and ticketed him for improper use of a a restricted license and a stop sign violation following a traffic stop at 11:19 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 95 in the town of Moira.

DWI - NORFOLK - Nicolas A. Lecuyer, 22, 388 McCarthy Rd., Stockholm was arrested by state police at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday and charged with driving while intoxicated after a single-car crash on Route 38 in Norfolk.

Mr. Lecuyer was driving on Monday morning when he swerved to avoid a deer. He hit the guard rails and rolled over. He was ejected from the car and suffered minor injuries to his hand and hip.

He was taken to Massena Memorial Hospital for treatment.

His blood alcohol content was not available.

In addition to DWI, Mr. Lecuyer was also charged with failure to keep right, drinking in a motor vehicle, a seat belt violation and a speed violation.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MASSENA - Three unidentified Massena boys were arrested by state police on Sept. 19 and charged with multiple felony counts of criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Two of the boys are 12 years old, one is 13.

On June 27, the boys allegedly used BB guns to shoot numerous cars at Route 37 Auto Body and O&B Auto Sales in Massena.

After over two months of investigation by state police, the boys were arrested.

They are scheduled to appear in Massena Town Court.

FORCIBLE TOUCHING - POTSDAM - Jerry F. Jandrew, 42, 78 Route 345, Potsdam was arrested by state police Sunday and charged with forcible touching.

In March 2012 he allegedly forcibly touched an underage female subject in the town of Potsdam.

He is scheduled to appear in Potsdam Village Court.
