St. Lawrence Central turned back Norwood-Norfolk while Parishville-Hopkinton outlasted Colton-Pierrepont in NAC East Division varsity boys soccer action on Tuesday.

SLC 3, N-N 2: In Brasher Falls, Ian Lynch scored the first and final goals to spark the Larries past the Flyers. Lynch finished off a play set up by Josh White in the 11th minute before Zeb Brown countered with the first of his two goals for the Flyers eight minutes later and the teams went into halftime knotted at 1-1.

White restored the SLC lead off an assist from Shane Fuentes with 17:15 left in regulation. Brown tied the game 2-2 four minutes later but Lynch connected from Nate McLaughlin three minutes after that for what would stand as the game-winner.

Tyler Savage made nine saves backstopping the win as the Larries improved to 2-3 in the division and 2-4 overall. Garrett Waite stopped 22 shots for the Flyers.

P-H 3, C-P 2 (2OT): In Parishville, the teams combined to score three goals over the final 12:27 of regulation after the Colts has taken quick lead when Noah Whalen struck from Alex Harcourt just 2:52 into the game.

After a scoreless first 10-minute overtime, Snell relayed a cross into the area by Logan Johns into the eventual game-winning goal just 1:55 into the second extra session.

Parker Meashaw stopped 10 shots in helping the Panthers remain unbeaten at 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the East. They are slated to face tournament host Massena in the championship game of the Bill O’Neill Memorial on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Mike Nicholas Field. The consolation game between Salmon River and Hermon-DeKalb is slated for 5 p.m. The first round of the tournament took place earlier this month but the second round was postponed to this weekend due to threatening weather conditions.
