OGDENSBURG — Three people face grand larceny charges after they allegedly attempted to steal a motorcycle that had been posted on Craigslist.

Michael E. Brosh, 16, North Syracuse; Aniessa M. McGregor, 18, Cicero, and Nathon J. Olmstead, 20, Syracuse, were arrested by state police at 9:25 p.m. Monday.

Ogdensburg resident Jason Laduc had posted a motorcycle for sale on Craigslist, police said. Mr. Olmstead responded to the advertisement and began talking with Mr. Laduc about the motorcycle while the other suspects sat in the truck, according to police.

Mr. Olmstead agreed to buy the vehicle, and when Mr. Laduc went inside to get a pen, Mr. Olmstead allegedly rode off on the motorcycle with his companions following.

They are scheduled to appear in Ogdensburg City Court.
