AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Myra L. Cutway, 17, of Rensalear Falls with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on Market Street after she rear ended the vehicle in front of her.

FORGED INSTRUMENT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Kelly W. O’Connor, 18, of Chateaugay with third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, an open container violation and littering at 11:56 p.m. Thursday on Market Street. Police said a patrol observed O’Connor walking on Market Street in front of Stewart’s with an open container of an alcoholic beverage. Patrol made contact with the suspect, and she threw the beverage to the ground and fled on foot. A short foot pursuit ensued, and O’Connor was apprehended without incident. The suspect was then found to be in possession of marijuana and a fake New York state driver’s license, police said. She was released on appearance tickets.

1824 Patrol dispatched to a property damage accident on Market Street. A vehicle operated by Myra Cutway rear ended another vehicle.

1925 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call in Colton.

2022 Received report of subject obstructing traffic on Sandstone Drive.

2025 Vehicle and traffic complaint reported. Investigation continues.

2146 Reported open fire on State Street.
