AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Myra L. Cutway, 17, of Rensalear Falls with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on Market Street after she rear ended the vehicle in front of her.
FORGED INSTRUMENT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Kelly W. OConnor, 18, of Chateaugay with third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, an open container violation and littering at 11:56 p.m. Thursday on Market Street. Police said a patrol observed OConnor walking on Market Street in front of Stewarts with an open container of an alcoholic beverage. Patrol made contact with the suspect, and she threw the beverage to the ground and fled on foot. A short foot pursuit ensued, and OConnor was apprehended without incident. The suspect was then found to be in possession of marijuana and a fake New York state drivers license, police said. She was released on appearance tickets.
