DWI - PIERREPONT - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies charged Rian C. Hill, 51, of 34 County Route 48A, Norwood, with driving while intoxicated following a personal injury accident Friday on County Route 24 in the town of Pierrepont. Deputies located the Hill at the scene. It appears that Hill’s vehicle went off the left side of the roadway on a curve and

overturned four times before coming to rest in the middle of the roadway. Hill complained of arm and internal injuries. He was transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Colton Rescue. Hill was also charged with second-degree aggravatedunlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed for failure to keep right.

Píerrepont Fire and First Responders also responded to the accident scene.
