Thomas John Casey, 32, passed away Thursday (September 27, 2012) at the Fletcher Allen Medical Center, where he had been a patient since Sunday. Funeral arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.

Thomas was born July 15, 1980, in Malone the son of William & Anita (Raimondo) Casey. While growing up he attended Brushton Moira High School. From the moment he could talk and walk, he had a interest in his father’s truck driving business, 2004 he had the opportunity to take over for his father and operate the trucking business.

Thomas was the all around guy you meet on the street. His hobbies and interest were many; he enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling and doing mechanical work. He always looked forward to the Franklin County Fair and watching the tractor pulls and demolition derbies. However he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Thomas is survived by his beloved son Aaron Casey age 11 of Moira, his parents William & Anita Casey of Massena, his maternal grandmother Elizabeth Foisy of Clayton, and two very special little girls who touched and warmed his heart Brooke & Chloe Recore. Also surviving Thomas are his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is predeceased by a brother Leighton who entered into rest 1988, his paternal grandparents Hugh & Lillian Casey, maternal grandfathers, Leo Raimondo and Joseph Foisy, and is Uncle John Casey.

Friends may call at the Flint Funeral Home Monday (October 1, 2012) from 2-4 and 6-8. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Thomas will be held Tuesday Morning at 11 am at St. Mary’s Church Brushton, with the Fr. Christopher Looby presiding. Thomas will be laid to rest beside his brother Leighton in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Brushton.
