CANTON Brian Gilloran scored one goal and assisted on another to lead the St. Lawrence University mens soccer team to a 4-0 win over St. John Fisher (6-4-1) in a nonconference game Tuesday.
Ozzy Morales, Harry Copeland and Jeremiah Bunton also scored for the Saints (10-1), who outshot St. John Fisher 25-4. Nate Goss-Woliner made three saves for the shutout.
Clarkson 0, Utica 0 (OT): Saverino Spagnolo made nine saves as Clarkson (1-6-3) played to a scoreless tie against the Pioneers in a nonconference game in Utica. Anthony Carusos six saves led Utica (4-6-1).
WOMENS SOCCER
SUNY Brockport 4, SUNY Canton 0: Vanessa Gillette scored one goal and assisted on another to help SUNY Brockport shut out the Kangaroos (6-6) in a nonconference game in Canton.
Courtney Szczesniak, Katie Gildemeyer and Lauren Drago also scored for SUNY Brockport (8-1-2) and Potsdam native Kaila Maguire assisted on a goal.
MENS GOLF
SUNY Potsdam 471, SUNY Canton 503: Harrison Davenport shot a 3-over-par 75 to lead SUNY Potsdam past the Kangaroos at the Partridge Run Golf Club in Canton.
The Bears had the top four finishers as Davenport was followed by Matt Supernault (76), Conor Talty (77) and Austin Pivetta (78). Jeremiah Hardin finished fifth with a 79 to lead SUNY Canton.
VOLLEYBALL
SUNY Potsdam 3, SLU 2: Rachel Auerbach had 18 kills to lead the Bears to a 22-25, 25-20, 26-28, 25-23, 15-9 win over St. Lawrence (6-16) in a nonconference match in Potsdam. Tia Wright added 13 kills for the Bears (14-8).
