CRIMINAL POSSESSION WEAPON - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Daniel R. Adams, 73, of Mississippi with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 2 p.m. Friday at the U.S. port of entry. He was in possession of a .38 calibre revolver.Adams had a permit for the weapon in Mississippi but did not have a pistol permit for New York state. The weapon was confiscated for destruction. Adams was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and was granted a six-month adjournment in contemplation of dismissal following consultation between the court and the St. Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Scott O. Kimble, 19, of Massena with disorderly conduct and failure to obey a police officer following an incident at 11:34 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 420 in the town of Massena.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - BRASHER FALLS - Massena-based state police charged Cody W. Manchester, 17, of North Lawrence, Malacoix T. Prior, 17, of Brasher Falls and Matthew A. Whitehead 17, of Brasher Falls with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 9:25 p.m. Thursday on state Route 11C in the town of Brasher.

UNTAXED CIGARETTES - ROSSIE - Gouverneur-based state police charged Kanawakeron Swamp, 48, of Cornwall Island, Ont., and Jody E. Swamp, 17, of Akwesasne with unlawful possession of untaxes cigarettes following a traffic stop at 7 p.m. Thursday on state Route 37 in the town of Rossie.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - WADDINGTON - Ogdensburg-based state police said Ralph L. Sharpstene, 55, of Lisbon was involved in a one-vehicle property damage accident at 6:59 p.m. Thursday on County Route 28 near Campbell Road in the town of Waddington.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police said Shirley E. Martin, 65, of Waddington was involved in a property damage accident at 8:59 p.m. Thursday on state Route 37 near Keystone Road in the town of Lisbon.
