MALONE - A Fort Covington woman pleaded guilty in Franklin County Court on Thursday to two separate cases charging her with selling and possessing oxycodone in January.

Jessica Brown, 29, pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from drug sales on Jan. 12 and 19, and one count each of third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance, stemming from her selling drugs on Jan. 13.

She is scheduled to be sentenced by Franklin County Court Judge Robert G. Main Jr. on both matters on Dec. 10.

A May 24 grand jury indictment had charged her with two counts each of third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance, stemming from the Jan. 12 and 19 sales. She was charged for the Jan. 13 sales with one count each of third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance in an Aug. 23 grand jury indictment.

Since she admitted to felonies in two separate cases, she will be looking at mandatory state prison time when sentenced.
