Elizabeth (Beth) Roach-LaBarge, age 65, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly of Madrid, NY passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
At her request, no services will be held.
For over 30 years Elizabeth (Beth) worked as a Special Education Teacher. Beginning in the early 80s for BOCES and later for Madrid Waddington Central School retiring in 2009.
Elizabeth enjoyed reading, cooking, and had an exceptional love of her animals, she and her husband, the late Harley LaBarge Sr. were avid participants in the creation of the Madrid Community Park and the Madrid Bluegrass Festival.
She was born February 24, 1947 in Athens, Ohio, daughter of the late James Sr. and Patricia Roach of Canton, New York. Elizabeth is survived by a son, Spec. Harley W. LaBarge Jr., currently serving in the US Army at Fort Stewart, Georgia; a daughter, Patricia LaBarge and granddaughter, Angelina Petrie, Colorado Springs, Colorado, a brother, James Roach Jr., Colorado Springs, and a sister Patricia McCrohan, Australia.
