PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA — A Massena man was charged by village police Friday night with petit larceny.

Joshua A. Barrett, 24, of 74 Ames St., stole $20 worth of gasoline from Stewart’s on North Main Street by driving off without paying for it, police said.

Barrett also was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

He is to appear in village court.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MASSENA - Village police charged Patrick D. Jacobs, 27, of 2 John Oakes Lane, Hogansburg, with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 2:30 a.m. Saturday following an investigation into a fight near Auggie’s bar on Main Street. He reportedly threw a beer bottle that struck and broke a vehicle’s windshield.



DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Village police charged Serina H. Arney, 35, of 166 Gerry Ave., Syracuse, with disorderly conduct at 2:29 a.m. Saturday on Main Street. Police said Arney continued to shout obscenitis at police and other members of the public while they were investigating the fight and criminal mischief complaints near Auggie’s on Main Street and refused to comply with several requests to cease that behavior.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Savanna M. Gaskill, 21, of Rochester with speed in zone following a traffic stop at 4:23 p.m. Saturday on Andrews Street.



FAILURE TO YIELD - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jeffrey M. Rush II, 22, of state Route 420, Brasher Falls, was ticketed for failure to yield at a stop sign following a stop at 3:06 p.m. Saturday on East Hatfield Street.



INADEQUATE LIGHTS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed M.J. Vaillincourt, 83, of Massena for operation of a vehicle with no stop lamp following a traffic stop at 2:21 p.m. Saturday on South Main Street.



FAILURE TO YIELD - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Chaya L. Stephenson, 25, of Cicero for failure to yield at a stop sign following a traffic stop at 9:34 a.m. Saturday on South Main Street.



INADEQUATE TAIL LAMP - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Pamela J. Gmyr, 54, of Grantville Road, Norfolk, for operation of a vehicle with inadeqate tail lamps following a traffic stop at 12:41 a.m. Saturday on Andrews Street.



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Edward Michael Voice, 56, of Kelseyville, Calif., with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 9:05 p.m. Friday on state Route 37.



ILLEGAL WINDOW TINT - MASSENA - Village police ticketed John P. Davis III, 34, of Massena for operation of a vehicle with illegal window tint following a traffic stop at 8:46 p.m. Friday on Main Street.



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Alisha M. Jacobs, 18, of Hogansburg with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 5:55 p.m. Friday on Nightengale Avenue.
