Hermon-Dekalb girl charged with punching, cutting schoolmate’s hair

ASSAULT - DEKALB - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’ s Department deputies charged Michelle L. Skídds 16, of 2279 County Rte 21 Hermon, with third-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangerment following an investigation of an assault which occurred Oct. 4 at the Hermon-Dekalb Central School. The incident was reported by school officials at 3: 16 p.m.

Skidds, a student at the school, is alleged to have assaulted another student at the school, a 15-year-old female. Skidds allegedly grabbed the victim and forcibly cut her hair with a pair of scissors. Skidds then reportedly struck the victim multiple times in the

face and head, resulting in injury.

Skidds was issued appearance tickets for Dekalb Town Court and will answer these charges at a later .
