The “Cash for the Holidays” raffle sponsored by the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s HEART Committee was drawn by John Friot at noon Friday in the CHMC Cafeteria. Grand prize winner Andrea Chenier won $10,000; second prize winner Rich Wagner won a Price Chopper $250 gift certificate; third prize winner Andrea Dalton won a Stewart’s Shops $250 My Money Card; fourth prize winner Barb Perretta won a 32-inch Element LCD HD television from Walmart; fifth prize winner Andy Impaglia won a $100 Basta’s gift certificate, ticket sold by Heather Kennedy; and sixth prize winner Dick Wright won a $100 Carbino’s gift certificate. The HEART (Hepburn Employees Always Reaching for Tomorrow) Committee is a group of employees who raise funds with the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Foundation to support equipment purchases throughout the hospital that will positively impact patient experience.  The committee was founded in 1993, and has raised over $750,000 since that time.
