1991 Ogdensburg Free Academy graduate Dr. David J. Dupree will appear on an episode of The Doctors entitled “Your Grossest Body Problems Solved” Wednesday. Earlier this year, Dr. Dupree removed a 51-pound tumor from a New Jersey woman’s abdomen.

On the show, Dr. Dupree will discuss the difficulties of performing the surgery.

“It’s nowhere near the most difficult surgery that I have ever done, but it’s definitely the biggest of my career,” said Dr. Dupree.

The woman has since made a full recovery, Dr. Dupree said.

The show, airing at 10 a.m. on Channel 13, will also feature segments on spiders in your ears, parasites in your eyes and fungus on your face.
