GRAND LARCENY - BROOKDALE - Andrew M. Francis, 22, 287 Cook Rd., Stockholm, was arrested by Norfolk-based state police at 11:41 a.m. Monday and charged with grand larceny.

According to troopers, Mr. Francis stole $5,000 in NASCAR collectible items from his mother, Cynthia M. Francis. These included 200 die-cast cars and a framed, autographed print of Kyle Petty.

He was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facilityon $1,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Stockholm Town Court.



MENACING - NORFOLK - Jason M. Woodward, 34, 77 Ober St., Massena was arrested by state police at his home at 9:15 p.m. Monday and charged with menacing, trespassing, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Mr. Woodward allegedly forced his way into the home of Jonathan P. Wolfe, 20, 128 Adams Rd., Norfolk. He threatened Mr. Wolfe and his brother, Brandon S. Wolfe, 23, 135 Adams Rd., Norfolk, with a shotgun on Sept. 21.

Mr. Woodward accused the Wolfe brothers of stealing from him, according to troopers.

He was arraigned and sent to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail until he reappears in Norfolk Town Court.



AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT - POTSDAM - James C. Moschell, 20, 42 Sweeney Road, Potsdam, was arrested by Canton-based state police at 9:50 a.m. Sunday and charged with aggravated harassment.

He allegedly sent repeated calls and text messages to his ex-girlfriend, despite her telling him to stop. He also threatened her new boyfriend, troopers said.

He is scheduled to appear in Potsdam Town Court.



CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - CANTON - Jessie J. Kozak, 29, 566 Route 11B, Potsdam, was arrested by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies Monday and charged with criminal contempt.

According to deputies, Kozak violated an order of protection by purchasing a shotgun on Oct. 5 in Canton.

He is scheduled to appear in Canton Town Court.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - BRASHER CENTER - Massena-based state police said John H. Perryh, 71, of Potsdam was involved in a one-vehicle property damage accident at 8:25 p.m. Monday on County Route 53, near the Mahoney Road, in the town of Brasher.



INADEQUATE HEADLIGHT - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jenna L, Young, 20, of Reagan Flats Road, Bombay, for operation of a vehicle with an inadequate headlight following a traffic stop at 1:30 p.m. Monday on Beach Street.



SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - MASSENA - Village police ticketed William M. Ezrd, 91, of North Raquette Road, Massena, for operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop at 10:05 a.m. Monday on Main Street.



OPEN CONTAINER - MASSENA - Village police charged Jennifer O’Brien, 23, of 65 Stoughton Ave., Massena, for an open container violation at 1:10 a.m. Monday on Andrews Street.



UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Susanne S. Harrison, 51, of Massena for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 4:30 p.m. Sunday on Bishop Avenue.



SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Damion J. Taylor, 19, of Norwood for speed in zone (55/30) following a traffic stop at 2:06 a.m. Monday on Sandstone Drive.
