CANTON -Jury selection began Tuesday in St. Lawrence County Court in the trial of a Ogdensburg man accused of being involved in a March 2011 gunpoint robbery at a convenience store.
Travis M. Howe, of 7035 Route 37, faces charges of first-degree robbery and fourth-degree grand larceny, both felonies.
He is accused of participating in a March 5, 2011, armed robbery at the Twin Bridges Convenient Mart & Deli, 40 Main St., Ogdensburg.
Mr. Howe is being defended by attorney Marcia L. Le May. District Attorney Nicole M. Duve is prosecuting.
Another man charged with committing the robbery, Michael J. Wells, 26, no fixed address, has said he framed Mr. Howe for the crime.
