ASSAULT - MASSENA - Village police charged Terry L. Crump, 31, of 543 South Main St., Massena, with third-degree assault at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday following an investigation into a domestic dispute. He was arraigned by Acting Massena Village Justice James M. Crandall and released under the supervision of the probation department. Police said they responded to a disturbance complaint at 5:31 p.m. Wednesday and learned Crump had thrown small clock that struck Jolene Coffey in the head, leaving her with injuries to her forehead, nose and under her right eye. Police said Coffey refused medical attention and refused to sign a complaint or answer questions for the domestic incident report. But police officers said Coffey admitted throwing the clock at his girlfriend when he was being processed at the police station. “I didn’t even hit her. I just threw that clock at her,” he reportedly responded during the processing procedure.



FEDERAL WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Desheila Rene Thomas, 36, of 144 South Raquette Road, Massena, on a U.S, Marshall’s warrant and transported him to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.



COUNTY COURT WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Ricky M. Green Jr., 25, of 20 Cornell Ave., Massena, on a county court bench warrant for a probation violation. He was transported to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility pending arraignment in St. Lawrence County Court.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MASSENA - Village police charged Aaron J. Jenkins, 21, of 2050 state Route 131, Massena, with fourth-degree crimina, mischief at 5:38 a.m. Wednesday following an incident on South Main Street.



ASSAULT - MASSENA - Village policed charged Michael J. Apel, 37, of 1541 Bricheroff Ave., Utica, with third-degree assault at 5:39 a.m. Wednesday following an incident on South Main Street.



9SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Robert F. Lytle Jr., 39, of 18 Pine St., Massena, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop at 9:15 a.m. Thursday on South Main Street.



PROBATION WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Joseph W. McGregor, 26, of 50 McCluskey Ave., Massena, on a county court bench warrant for an alleged probation violation at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday on Stephenville Road.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Christopher N. Doxtator, 41, of Southwold, Ont., for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday on Man Street.



STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jonathan R. Jones, 29, of Massena for a stop sign violation following a traffic stop at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday on Grove Street at Ridgewood Avenue.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Benjamin T. Forkey, 37, of County Route 39, Chateaugay, for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday on East Hatfield Street.
