Massena Rescue and the Massena Fire Department participated in an annual evacuation drill of the Nightengale Elementary School in Massena this week.

Students lined up according to class and evacuated the school from its many emergency exits. Pictured above, Massena Rescue EMTs Randy Montour and Ray Drake stood by as the students were evacuated to the nearby high school. Massena Fire Department sent in four firefighters equipped with air packs to search the school for anyone left behind.
