Funeral services for 78-year old Mrs. Jean B. Bronson of West Stockholm will be held Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Barnes officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Norwood, NY. Friends may call at Seymour Funeral Home, in Potsdam on Saturday evening 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Mrs. Bronson died at Canton-Potsdam Hospital on October 17, 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Loren L. “Bub” Bronson of West Stockholm, a daughter Tammy Bronson, a son and daughter-in-law Greg and Kelly Bronson, step-daughters Kristin, and McKayla Gunderson, a granddaughter Samantha Bronson, a grandson and his wife L. Tristan and Beth Bronson, and a great-granddaughter Claire Grace Bronson.

Jean is survived by one brother and his wife, Garnet and Ann Winters, a sister Lillian McLeod, widow of the late Bruce McLeod, and a sister Ruby Skinner, widow of Walter Skinner, all of whom live in Canada. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins throughout Canada and the United States also survive Jean.

Deceased siblings and their respective spouses include a brother and sister-in-law Harold and Dora Winters, a brother and sister-in-law Maurice and Kay Winters, a sister Dorothy and Dorothy’s spouse John Dunbar, a sister Joan and her husband David Bronson.

Jean was born in Cornwall, Ontario Canada on October 10, 1934 the daughter of Heber E. and E. Ada (Ross) Winters. After completing high school she married Loren L. “Bub” Bronson on December 17, 1955 at the West Stockholm United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam.
