PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies charged Samuel J. Adams, 21, of 2001 County Route 35, Norwood, with petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following an investigation into an incident that took place on Oct. 11. Adams allegedly stole oxycontin and other prescription medications from another person in the town of Potsdam. He was released on an appearance ticket.
