BRASHER FALLS - A pair of first-half goals carried the Massena Central varsity boys soccer team to a 2-0 NAC interdivisional win on the road over St. Lawrence Central on Friday.
Robert Cameron opened the scoring in the 21st minute off an assist from Dalton Mullin and Jesus Hernandez added the insurance goal with five minutes left in the first half.
Cameron Marsh handled the 10 shots he faced working the Massena (5-3-5) crease for the shutout while Tyler Savage stood tall posting 20 saves for the Larries (2-9-2).
In the other NAC boys soccer action on Friday, Brushton-Moira outlasted East Division rival Parishville-Hopkinton 1-0, Canton held on for a 1-0 Central Division win over OFA and Morristown fashioned a 7-0 West Division decision over Clifton-Fine.
B-M 1, P-H 0: In Parishville, Kurtis Helm connected off an assist from Loren Traynor in the 16th minute and the Franklin County Panthers made it stand for the win.
Taylor Tallman made nine saves for the shutout as B-M moved to 8-3-1 in the East and 9-4-1 overall.
Parker Meashaw posted seven stops for P-H which clipped to 7-3-1 in the division and 8-4-1 after dropping a one-goal decision to an East rival for the second time in as many days.
Canton 1, OFA 0: In Ogdensburg, Matt Mende scored from Francesco Palumbo 16 minutes after the opening kick-off for what held up as the only goal of the game.
Scott Wight made nine saves for the shutout as the Bears moved to 5—1-4 in the Central and 7-2-4 overall. Jacob Sias had eight stops for OFA (4-5-3, 3-3-3).
