Louisville: Colbert Bert E. Bradley 72, of State Highway 131, Massena, passed on October 18, 2012 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice. Bert was born on March 18,1940 in Madrid the son of Everett and Isabel (Colbert) Bradley. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1968, following his discharge he started work at Watsons Chevrolet in Madrid and later was employed at Massena Water-Sewage Department, as an operator. He married Barbara Smith on April 20, 1968 at St. Lawrence church with Rev. George Tobin presiding. Bert was a member of the American Legion Post #79, Louisville Volunteer Fire Department. He coached Louisville Minor Hockey, along with being a volunteer. His survivors include his wife Barbara, a daughter Denise and Joe Lunduski of Romulus, NY and a son Paul and Jessie Bradley of Cicero, NY; five grandchildren, Theresa, Eva, Allison, Matthew and Bridget, a brother Bill Bradley of Potsdam, and two step brothers, Howard Cloce of Morley, and Ed Cloce of Canton, and a step sister, Sharon Dawley of Lisbon. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley or to Louisville Volunteer Fire Department. The Funeral Mass will be held on October 23, 2012 at St. Lawrence Church in Louisville with Rev. Donald J. Manfred presiding. Interment will follow in Madrid Cemetery at 2:00pm with full military honors. There will be no calling hours. Online condolences may be made to www.phillipsmemorial.com.
