Massena Rolls Past OFA Up Next Canton


MASSENA - Emily Hurlbut won the 200 and 500 freestyle and swam a leg on the winning 400 freestyle relay while Baylee Carroll won the 100 freestyle and swam legs on both the winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays as the Massena Central girls swimming team beat OFA 55-39 on Tuesday in Northern Athletic Conferece action.

Other Massena individual winners included Savannah Hays in the 500 free, Natalie Lepage in the 100 free and Laura Hartman in the 100 breaststroke.

Individual winners for OFA included Susie Morrow in both the 200 IM and 100 backstroke and Natalie Perrigo in the 100 butterfly.

Canton 113, Potsdam 57: The Lady Bears rolled by Potsdam led by Angelina Domena who won both the 50 and 100 freestyle.

For Potsdam, winners included Emma Kroll in the 200 IM, Ariana Frascatore in the 200 free and Shanielle Chambers in the 100 backstroke.

SLC 51, Gouverneur 39: The Larries downed the Wildcats led by Cammie Ramsdell who swept the 200 and 500 freestyles while Cheyenne Padget in the 200 IM, Alex Craft in the 50 free, Hailey Arquiett in the 100 fly and Madee Derouchie in the 100 free were also SLC winners.

Malone 89, E-K 59: Malone swam past the Lady Cougars led by Isabella Lucia who swept the 200 and 500 freestyle. For E-K, Heather Finnerty won the 100 backstroke and Catherine Curley took the 100 breastroke.
