PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Hope A. Murray, 34, of Hammond and Kristine L. Petrie, 48, of Hammond with petit larceny following an incident reported at 1:49 p.m. Wednesday from the Walmart store in Potsdam.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - CANTON - Ogdnesburg-based state police charged Jesse D. Hoffman, 18, of Canton with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday in the town of Canton.

STOLEN PROPERTY - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Jessica S. Perkins, 29, of Brushton with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property Wednesday following an investigation into an incident reported to troopers at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 17 from the town of Malone. Briana S. Maldano, 24, of Malone was charged with petit larceny as part of that same invesigation.

TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police investigated a two-vehicle property damage accident at 3:47 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 37 at Whalen Road. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Lance E. Lesperance, 41, of Massena and Brian L. Middlemiss, 28, of Ogdensburg.
