PARISHVILLE - Class D No. 13 New York State ranked Parishville-Hopkinton scored a pair of second half goals to knock off Colton-Pierrepont 3-0 in a tune-up before Mondays home game with Northern Athletic Conference Girls Soccer East Division leader and current No. 6 Class D NYS ranked Chateaugay (13-0).
The Panthers (10-2-1, 5-1 NAC East) scored quickly as Kodie Perkins scored from her familiar quarterback Emily Sloan in the 1st minute.
Sloan was repaid the favor scoring from a Perkins pass in the 48th minute. In the 70th minute, Brianna Hayes scored from Kelsie Putnam and Racheal Remington to close out the scoring.
Marlee Wilson had 10 saves for the shutout. Kathryn Miller made 18 saves for Colts (4-9-1, 2-3 NAC East).
Meanwhile, Brushton-Moira defeated St. Lawrence Central 3-1 in NAC North Division play.
The Panthers (8-4, 4-1 NAC North) battled back from a 1-0 deficit as Lindsey Thayer scored unassisted in the 15th for the Larries (1-11-1, 1-5 NAC North).
Erica Russell tied the game in the 28th. Kaitlyn LaPaige connected for the game winner in the 60th before Kenzie Traynor scored twice unassisted for insurance in the 62nd and 73rd.
Haleigh Agans made 15 saves for SLC. Ashley Debeer stopped nine shots for B-M.
