CANTON - An Ogdensburg man accused of causing a two-car accident that left a city woman hospitalized with neck and head injuries has been charged with drunk driving and vehicular assault.

Lloyd V. Lennox, 25, of 53 Tallman Road, faces seven charges in an indictment returned Thursday by a St. Lawrence County grand jury.

He allegedly had a blood alcohol content of .18 percent when the rear of his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Mary Jo Montana, 48, of 815 Lake St., while she was on County Route 6 attempting to make a left turn onto Simms Camp Road, town of Oswegatchie. The accident happened on July 21. The state’s legal blood alcohol content is .08 percent.

Mr. Lennox has been charged with first-degree vehicular assault, second-degree assault, two counts of second-degree vehicular assault, a misdemeanor count of aggravated driving while intoxicated and two counts of misdemeanor By dent happened on July 21. In other court action, three Canton men were indicted for allegedly operating a methamphetamine lab Oct. 16 inside their residence, North Country Freedom Homes, 25 Dies St., Canton.

Mark R. Amo, 28, Hunter J. Casey, 31, and Andrew M. Larche, 25, were each charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture methamphetamine.

James J. Love, 27, of 60 Liberty Ave., Apt. E., Massena, is accused of selling oxycodone to another person, on Oct. 25, 2011 in the village of Massena. He faces one count of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony.

Curtis B. Debien, 18, of 12526 Route 37, Waddington, faces first-degree criminal contempt. He is accused of violating an order of protection issued Aug. 7 by making more than 40 harassing telephone calls to Darlina Dishaw.
