CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - Massena-based state police charged Kayla Boyd, 21, of 320 Gleason Ave., Apt. 5, Cornwall, Ont., with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a secondary inspection at Friday afternoon at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents reportedly found a large bulge on Boyds left breast during a patdown search and saw the corner of a plastic bag jutting out of her shirt. The Zip Lock baggie stuffed in her bra reportedly contained several pills that tested positive for narcotics and amphetamines. The pills were reportedly identified by Boyd as being speed. She was arraigned by Massena Town Justice James M. Crandall and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
