FORCIBLE TOUCHING - BRASHER - Massena-based state police charged Michael P. Besaw, 51, of Bombay with forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident reported to troopers at 1:30 p.m. Friday from the town of Brasher. Besaw was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Fitzcarra K. Coker, 22, of Canton with petit larceny following a shoplifting incident at 8:59 p.m. Friday at the Potsdam Walmart. She reportedly shoplifted a suede cord and a package of wooden beats.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - NORWOOD - Canton-based state police charged Bobbie S. LaFountain, 26, of Norwood with disorderly conduct following an incident reported to troopers at 12:35 a.m. Saturday from 18 Depot St. in the village of Norwood.

DWI - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged Michael J. Ploof, 36, of Brushton with driving while intoxicated, an open container in a vehicle violation and unlawful possession of marijuana following an incident at 12:30 a.m. Saturday on state Route 11 in the town of Brushton. He was also ticketed fro unsafe movement of a stopped vehicle and a stop sign violation.
