PETIT LARCENY - PIERREPONT - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies charged Rebecca R. Bowley, 23, of 740 County Route 36, Chase Mills, with petit larceny Friday following an investigation into an incident at the Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country facility in Pierrepont. Bowley is alleged to have submitted fraudulent handwritten receipts for purchases that she was supposed to have made on behalf of the facility’s residents between January and September while she was employed by the Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country.



HARASSMENT - BUCKTON - Massena-based state police charged five people with second-degree harassment, physical contact, violations following an investigation into a neighbor trouble complaint made to troopers at 6:09 p.m. Sept. 26. Troopers charged Adam J. Clark, 26, Robin L. Clark, 45, and Donald C. Clark, 52, all of 38 Scott Road, Winthrop; and Jonathan M. Charleson, 29, and Joshua W. Charleson, 28, both of 54 Scott Road, Winthrop; with second-degree harassment.



ENDANGERING THE WELFARE - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Herbert M. Planty, 31, of Canton, and Sarah A. Cashman, 30, of Canton with endangering the welfare of a child following an investigation into an incident reporter to troopers at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 15 from the town of Potsdam. Mr. Planty was additionally charged with second-degree harassment.



AGGRAVATED DWI - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Stephanie M. Deperron-Tyo, 25, of Cornwall, Ont., with aggravated driving while intoxicated following an incident at 3:35 a.m. Friday on the Dundee Road.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - PIERREPONT - Canton-based state police investigated a two-vehicle property damage accident at 10:09 a.m. Thursday on state Route 56 at County Route 59 in the town of Pierrepont. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Mary E. Denicourt, 63, of Parishville and Shelby L. Blackmer, 32, of Colton.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - CANTON - Canton-based state policed said Zachary R. Kerberg, 21, of Winthrop was involved in a one-vehicle property damage accident at 8:50 p.m. Thursday on state Route 11 near the Cowan Road in the town of Canton.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - NORWOOD - Canton-based state police said John F. McGee, 64, of Norfolk was involved in a two-vehicle property damage accident at 1:36 p.m. Thursday in the village of Norwood. Troopers said McGee struck a parked vehicle on McKinley Street.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police said Erin E. Gray, 33, of Brasher Falls was involved in a one-vehicle property damage accident at 7:21 p.m. Thursday on County Route 1 near state Route 37 in the town of Fort Covington.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - POTSDAM - Village police charged Nathan J.Smith,20, of Alexandria Bay with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday following an incident at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Smith allegedly threw a rock at a vehicle in the Canton-Potsdam Hospital parking lot breaking the back window.Smith, a patient in the chemical dependency unit, was released from the hospital and told not to return.



OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Drew J. Walier, 17, of Hamburg and James A. Hendron, 17, of Rochester with littering and open container at 9:50p.m. Thursday on Washington Street. Police said they responded to a complaint of possible prowlers on a porch at a house on Market Street. Police said they located Walier and Hendron in the area, and they matched the description given by the caller. As a patrol approached them, they allegedly discarded the drinks they had on the ground.



PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’ Department deputies charged Benjamin J. Gonnella, 22, of 38 Pierrepont Ave., Potsdam, with petit larceny Thursday after he allegedly shoplifted $38.97 worth of merchandise from the Potsdam Walmart store. He was released on an appearance ticket.



DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Village police charged Joshua L. Burr, 24, of 41 Liberty Ave., Massena, with disorderly conduct at 2:10 a.m. Friday. Burr, who was reportedly intoxicated, was observed urinating on the sidewalk in front of Key Bank moments after having an interaction with police officers.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Brett H. Shea, 48, of Snell Road, South Colton, for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 11:30 p.m. Thursday on state Route 37.



INADEQUATE HEADLIGHTS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Charlene A. Avery, 45, of Hopson Road, Brasher, for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights following a traffic stop at 8:17 p.m. Thursday on South Main Street.



IMPROPER LEFT TURN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Ellen P. Bolster, 70, of Massena for making an improper left turn following a traffic stop at 8:17 p.m. Thursday on Laurel Avenue.



INADEQUATE BRAKELIGHTS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jacob P. Kellogg, 21, of Massena for operation of a vehicle with inadequate brake lamps following a traffic stop at 4:08 p.m. Thursday on Route 37.



STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Mary A. Jessmer, 53, of Brouse Road, Massena, for a stop sign violation and operation of a vehicle with inadequate brake lamps following a traffic stop at 11:44 a.m. Thursday on Grove Street at Ridgewood Avenue.



IMPROPER TURN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Arthur F. Deshane, 66, of Massena for making an improper right turn at an intersection following an investigation into a property damage accident at 4:42 p.m. Monday on South Main Street.



FAILURE TO YIELD - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Donald I. Bassett, 66, of Palmer Road, Dickinson Center, for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign following an incident at 4:47 p.m. Wednesday on Stearns Street at Route 37.



AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Village police charged a 13-year-old male juvenile with aggravated harassment at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday. His case was turned over to the probation department to determine if he will be petitioned to St. Lawrence County Family Court.
