E.J. Noble Hospital will reopen at 9 a.m. Monday, according to acting Gouverneur Mayor Ronald P. McDougall.
The hospital had been closed since late September when the state Department of Health found deficiencies in its lab services. The Department of Health, in a news release posted to North Country Public Radio's website, said the hospital “made significant progress” in correcting those deficiencies.
The Department of Health is limiting the menu of tests that E.J. Noble can offer, and certain acute medical procedures, like some surgeries and delivering babies, still won't be permitted.
