PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENT - BRASHER FALLS - Massena-based state investigated said one person was injured in an accident at 6:40 p.m. Saturday on County Route 50 near the Leary-Flint Road in the town of Brasher. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by James A. Pearce, 51, of Brasher Falls.



PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENT - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police said one person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 11:40 a.m. Saturday on Tuper Road near the Quain Road in the town of Fort Covington. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Michelle M. Jeror, 55, of Moira.



STOLEN PROPERTY - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Jason M. Despaw, 20, of Norfolk with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession/use of fireworks Sunday evening stemming from an incident reported to troopers on Jan. 18, 2010. He was arrested Sunday night at 1952 County Route 38, Norfolk.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police patrols from around the region investigated several property damage accidents over the weekend. They included:

■ Brad L. Lucas, 61, of Brushton at 11:56 p.m. Saturday on County Route 17, near Barrett Road, in the town of Moira.

■ Amy L. Boyer, 44, of Vacaville, Calif., struck a parked vehicle at 1:59 p.m. Saturday in the Perry’s Big M parking lot off Spruce Street in Norwood.

■ Denise E. French, 41, of Madrid at 2:40 a.m. Sunday on County Route 30 near Townline Road in the town of Madrid.

■ Tyler J. Borden, 23, of Rochester at 2:56 p.m. Saturday on Route 11 near the Eddy Pyrites Road in the town of Canton.

■ Katherine L. Pullman, 19, of Truxton at 8:20 p.m. Sunday on Route 68 near the Tully Road in the town of Canton.



PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Ryan R. Corbine, 29, of Norwood with petit larceny following an incident at 3:15 p.m. Saturday at the Potsdam Walmart. Police said Corbine was observed taking a Five Hour Energy drink from a store shelf, opening it and drinking it without paying for it. Corbine was issued an appearance ticket.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - BRASHER FALLS - Massena-based state police charged Devon A. Young, 17, of Winthrop with unlawful possession of marijuana following an incident at 12:45 a.m. Saturday on state Route 11C in the town of Brasher.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - BRASHER - Massena-based state police charged Michael J. Michaud, 45, of Norfolk with unlawful possession of marijuana following an incident at 6:31 p.m. Saturday on County Route 53 in the town of Brasher.



DWI - PLATTSBURGH - Plattsburgh-based state police charged Nathan C. Bero, 21, of Bombay with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 3:38 a.m. Sunday on Margaret Street in the city of Plattsburgh.



CRIMINAL TAMPERING - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged Loren A. Griffin, 69, of Brushton with third-degree criminal tampering following an incident reported to troopers at 6:54 p.m. Saturday in the town of Moira.



BURGLARY - CONSTABLE - Malone-based state police charged Mary L. Whalen, 42, of Burke with second-degree burglary Sunday following an investigation into an incident reported to troopers at 12:19 p.m. Oct. 9 from the town of Constable.



HARASSMENT - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Jill M. Mitchell, 26, of Moira with second-degree harassment after incestigating a report received by troopers at 7:03 p.m. Sunday from the town of Malone. Mitchell was arrested an hour later at 800 Route 11, Moira.
