FELONY DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Travis J. Nelson, 32, of Potsdam with a felony count of driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for imprudent speed, failure to keep right, making an improper right turn and failure to wear a seat belt following a property damage accident at 2:52 a.m. Sunday on Maple Street. Police said Nelson apparently improperly turned from Market Street onto Maple Street and stuck the guide rail on the bridge. His vehiclerolled onto its side. Further charges are pending bloodalcohol results, police said.
