CANTON - Director of Interscholastic Athletes for Section 10 Carl Normandin announced Monday morning that all athletic contests were postponed due to the potential bad weather forecast associated with Hurricane Sandy

All varsity boys and girls soccer games scheduled for Monday were moved to this afternoon with games beginning at 4 p.m.

Several seeding positions prompted the move.

As a result, the Section 10 Girls Soccer Tournament Class C and D first round games have been switched.

The Class C first round game will be played Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Class D first round games will play on Thursday forcing Friday’s quarterfinals to be played on Saturday.

The Section 10 Cross Country Championships slated for Tuesday at the Gouverneur Country Club has been moved to Thursday starting at 3 p.m.
