Madrid-Waddington and Canton both scored victories at home to advance in Section Class D and Class C Volleyball action on Tuesday.

M-W downed Brushton-Moira 25-13, 12-25, 25-18, 25-16 to move into a semi-final match at Chateaugay on Thursday and Canton dropped Gouverneur 25-8, 25-11, 25-9 to move on to face top-seeded Salmon River on Thursday.

Leading M-W’s victory were: Brittani Dawley (13 points, 5 sets, 3 aces), Jenny King (11 points, 3 blocks, 2 kills), Janelle Trombley (11 points, 6 digs) and Dia Richards (6 digs, 2 kills).

Leading Canton were: Tara Facey (12 points, 12 assists, 1 ace, 1 kill), Beth Pearson (5 points, 2 aces, 6 kills), Rachel Sanderson (13 points, 3 aces 7 assists, 1 kill) and Kalie Mace (1 ace, 6 kills)
