CANTON The shift is on.
Offices are being shuffled around on SUNY Cantons campus as the school realigns its administrative structure.
This is basically designed to mirror what other SUNY schools do, said Randy B. Sieminski, assistant vice president for advancement.
Under the new administrative structure, the athletics department will move under the auspices of the student affairs division from its location in the advancement office. The information office and university police will fall under college administration, and online learning and admissions will move to the academics office.
These changes will result in a more effective organizational structure that will allow SUNY Canton to better address its issues and priorities moving forward, said Carli C. Schiffner, the colleges president.
