PETIT LARCENY - LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police charged Sara M. Norton, 25, of North Bangor with petit larceny Thursday following an investigation into an incident reported at 7:24 p.m. Oct. 14 from the town of Lawrence.

ASSAULT - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Brandon L. Sweeting, 24, of Hogansburg with third-degree assault Thursday stemming from an investigation into an incident reported at 2:04 a.m. Aug. 11 from the town of Fort Covington.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - WESTVILLE - Malone-based state police charged Thomas M. Letham, 38, of Bombay with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for speeding following a traffic stop at 11:45 a.m. Thursday on state Route 37 in the town of Westville.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MALONE - Malone-based state police investigated several property damage accidents Thursday and early Friday morning. They included:

■ Kelli E. Mainville, 24, of Fort Covington at 7:43 a.m. Thursday on Frye Road near Foster Road in the town of Fort Covington.

■ Mark A. Tuper, 5-0, of Brushton at 5:48 p.m. Thursday on Quain Road at Moore Road in the town of Fort Covington.

■ David A. Landry, 53, of Malone at 3:45 a.m. Friday on County Route 5 near Akins Road in the town of Dickinson.
