UNAUTHORIZED USE - MASSENA - Zachary T. Huto, 20, of Massena was charged with misapplication of property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at 1 p.m. Friday by Massena-based state police.

Troopers allege that a friend let him borrow their car, which Huto never returned. The misapplication of property charge stems from his attempts to sell the vehicle at a scrap yard.

He was released on an appearance ticket.

GRAND LARCENY - BOMBAY - Louie J. Diabo, 27, of St. Regis, Que., was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny stemming from an incident reported to Massena-based state police on Oct. 30.

Troopers allege Diabo used a stolen debit card. They said the amount of charges he racked up was unavailable.

He was arraigned and then held on $1,200 cash or $2,400 bail.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - A pair of teens was charged with petit larceny at 8:22 p.m. Friday by Canton-based state police.

Troopers charged Cody A. Lane, 18, of St. Regis Falls and Codi J. Church, 17, of Dickinson Center.

Troopers allege the pair were attempting to steal sunglasses and a cell phone case from Walmart.

They were both released on appearance tickets.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Tiffany D. Davis, 17, of Brooklyn was charged by Canton-based state police with petit larceny at 4:44 p.m. Friday.

Troopers allege Davis was attempting to steal cosmetic items from Walmart.

She was then released on an appearance ticket.
