CANTON - A Massena man was sentenced to state prison Friday in St. Lawrence County Court for his conviction of felony driving while intoxicated.
Heriberto A. Cajigas, 36, of 235 Center St., was sentenced by County Court Judge Jerome J. Richards to serve to 1 1/3 to 4 years in state prison.
In other court action:
■ Joshua M. Fradjda, 25, of 1111 Congress St., Ogdensburg, was sentenced to 1 2/3 to 5 years in prison for violating the probationary sentence he received for his conviction of third-degree burglary. He allegedly failed to report to his probation officer and used illegal substances.
■ James A. Long, 39, of Oxford, N.C., pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal contempt of court. He is expected to receive one year in county jail when he returns for sentencing Feb. 25.
■ Andrew A. England, 29, of 212 Tate St., Ogdensburg, pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted burglary, a Class D felony, and is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 21.
■ Frank W. Brown, 62, of 1162 County Route 21, Hermon, pleaded not guilty to second-degree course of sexual conduct and endangering the welfare of a child. His release on $5,000 cash bail was continued.
■ Daniel A. Zera Jr., 31, of 351 E. Orvis St., Apt. 16, Massena, pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted burglary, a Class E felony. Sentencing is scheduled for March 4.
