AGGRAVATED DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Ashley A. Fuller, 25, of Potsdam with driving while intoxicated at 3:18 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Sisson Street related to an investigation into a hit and run accident in the Ton’s parking lot off Market Street. She was also ticketed for making an unsafe start, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operation of a motor vehicle without stop lamps and drinking alcohol in motor vehicle on a highway. She reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.22 percent, nearly three times the 0.08 threshold for a DWI charge. The charge is elevated to aggravated DWI when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS - POTSDAM - Village police charged Aziz A. Dar, 21, of Bethany, Conn., with criminal trespass on railroad property at 7:38 a.m. Saturday after he was found sitting on the railroad trestle. Police had charged Dar with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop late Friday night.

NO BRAKE LIGHTS - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Daniel P. Flint, 20, of Norwood for operation of amotor vehicle without stop lamps at 11:19 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Waverly Street.

UNDERAGE POSSESSION ALCOHOL - POTSDAM - Three teenagers face charges after police observed suspicious behavior in a downtown parking lot. Police charged Meagan M. Metott, 16, of Massena; Brandon M. Sawyer, 17, of Norwood; and Steffanie J. Premo, 17, of Massena with possession of alcohol by persons under 21 years of age at 11:53 p.m. Saturday in the Munson Street parking lot.

0011 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a call on Market Street. Officer also responded and found it to be an assault.Investigation continues.

0019 Received a report of subjects attempting to gain access to a building on Elm Street.

0132 Patrol assisted a subject on Pierrepont Avenue.

0146 Patrol observed road cones thrown into the roadway on Elm Street. Road cones were removed.

0202 Patrol observed an intoxicated subject in the Main Street parking lot. Potsdam Rescue dispatched.

0207 Received a report of a hit and run accident. Arrest made.

0228 Patrols observed fireworks being discharged in the Bay Street area. Patrols were unable to locate the source of the fireworks.

0318 Traffic stop on Sisson Street. Arrest made for driving while intoxicated.

0436 Traffic stop on Sisson Street. Verbal warning issued.

0525 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call. Patrol also responded.

0545 Patrol provided a courtesy transport to a subject.

0738 Received a report of a subject sitting on the railroad trestle. Ticket issued.

0849 Report of a broken window at a downtown business. Patrol dispatched.

0850 A set of keys were found vicinity of Grant Street. Placed in lost and found.

1120 Report of multiple vehicles that were gone through and items taken on Elm Street. Investigationcontinues.

1415 Report of a property damage accident on Elm Street. Patrol responded.

1418 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Clarkson University for a male with a possible arm fracture.

1655 Report of a suspicious male hanging around different vehicles in the Main Street parking lot. Patrols dispatched. Prior to arrival, subject had left the area.

1911 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Maple Street. A verbal warning was issued.

2034 Received a report of a possible intoxicated driver heading into the village on US Highway 11. Patrols responded and found the operator was not intoxicated.

2150 Patrols responded to a noise complaint.

2207 Traffic stop on Maple Street. Verbal warning issued.

2207 Received a report of an intoxicated driver on Market Street. Patrol responded.

2214 Traffic stop on Maple Street. Verbal warning issued.

2251 Traffic stop on Main Street. Verbal warning issued.

2303 Officer observed a subject with an open container of an alcoholic beverage. Verbal warning


2319 Traffic stop on Waverly Street. Ticket issued.

2353 Officer observed suspicious activity in the Munson Street parking lot. Tickets issued.
