CANTON - Gary R. O’Shea, 28, of 128 Lincoln Road, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, criminal contempt and stalking by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and Canton Village Police.

Mr. Shea was under investigation for criminal contempt for harassing his ex-wife, who had an order of protection against him, according to deputies. He was stopped while driving on Lincoln Road in Canton as a result of this investigation, and was allegedly found to be intoxicated.

His blood alcohol content was not available.

Mr. O’Shea was turned over to Canton Village Police to answer for the contempt and harassment charges. He is scheduled to appear in Canton Village Court.
