HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE - Metalworking students from Career and Technical Education Centers Seaway Tech-Norwood, Southwest Tech-Gouverneur and Northwest Tech-Ogdensburg toured Jeffords Steel and Engineering Company in Potsdam. Students examined automated equipment in action, practiced Air-Carbon Arc Cutting techniques and listened to advice from Manager/Foreman Bill Henry about obtaining and maintaining successful employment in the welding field. Instructors Nanci Collins, Dave Timm and John Hughes would like to thank Jeffords for their continued support of the CTE Programs. Above, the entire class watches another student practice CAC-A techniques. (Photo Submitted)
