Computer Guys improve to 6-0 atop Massena Adult Basketball standings

MASSENA - Computer Guys remained undefeated atop the A Division standings with an 88-34 win over the Lounge in Massena Adults Basketball action from the high school gym last Sunday. Also posting wins were Mystic Rays, Open Net, Max, Locey’s, Murray’s-Bessett’s-Dave’s II and Mort Backus and Sons.

Computer Guys 88, The Lounge 34: Tyler Shaver drained seven three-pointers in a 27-point outing for the winners. Kyle Matott handed out 10 assists.

Ryan Herron paced The Lounge with 14 points.

Mystic Rays 79, Canton EDU 53: Justin Vice anchored a balanced offense with 17 points in the winning effort. Jared Pullock tallied 15 points and 15 rebounds while Eric Oakes chipped in 12 points and 17 boards.

James Mattice had 14 points in the losing cause followed by Jason Lorence with 12.

Open Net 64, KT-Powers 62 (OT): Jared Shope tossed through 20 points and Justin Shope struck for another 13 to anchor the winning ofense.

Chris Geary netted 19 points for KT-Powers followed by Wes Schofel with 15.

Max 81, Brasher 51: Zac Regan generated a game-high 26 points, including six three-pointers, for Max. Justin Todd contributed 19 points while Mike Womble fashioned 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Brian Ramsdell scored 16 points for Brasher while Quinn Patraw chipped in another 12.

Locey’s 69, Midway Market 50: Jehrod Hall fired through 28 points and hauled in 18 rebounds to lead the winning effort. Marco Carbone contributed 14 points and Eddie Moses another 13.

Joe Tousignant paced Midway Market with 17 points and Mike Beach scored another 12.

Murray’s-Bessett’s-Dave’s II 61, The Turnovers 60: Kevin Clark had 20 points and nine rebounds to anchor the winning cause. Corey Maxner struck for five three-pointers in a 17-point contribution.

Matt Brabaw had 18 points and Jon Peters another 16 for The Turnovers.

Mort Backus 71, Akwesasne Sports 61:Jordan Backus led the winning offense with 18 points while TJ Hannan and Al Flack finished with 16 points apiece.

Brett Herne led Akwesasne Sports with 17 points while Joe Sunday netted another 15.

A Division: Computer Guys 6-0, Mystic Rays 5-1, Locey’s 5-1, Max 4-1, Mort Backus 4-2, Canton EDU 3-2, NC Customs 3-2, Akwesasne Sports 2-4, Brasher 2-4, Lounger 1-4, The Turnovers 1-5.

B Division: Murray’s-Bessett’s-Dave’s II 3-2, Midway Marcket 2-4, Open Net 1-5, KT-Power 0-5.
