EDWARDS - Colin A. Campbell, 23, of 848 River Road, Edwards, was arrested by state police at 4:07 a.m. Saturday after crashing into the corner of a residence at 859 River Road.

Mr. Campbell was allegedly under the influence of LSD while driving. When an unidentified friend attempted to stop him from getting into his truck, Mr. Campbell allegedly punched him.

There were no injuries in the crash, but Mr. Campbell was taken to the hospital for injuries to his hand inflicted from the fight.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

He was taken to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility and held without bail.
