BRASHER FALLS - St. Lawrence Central opened their 2012-13 campaign with a 5-4 victory over Grand Isle in a rare Sunday afternoon high school hockey faceoff at the Tri-Town Community Center.

The Larries entered the third period with a 5-2 lead, surrendered two goals in the final stanza’s five minutes and then stifled the comeback effort of their visitors from Western New York.
